We are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a successful and growing business based in Bradford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and relationship-focused credit professional who enjoys managing their own ledger, reducing aged debt, and supporting cash flow across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and collecting outstanding debt across a portfolio of customer accounts
- Building strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payment
- Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
- Producing aged debt reports and providing updates to management
- Working closely with internal teams to support effective cash collection
- Identifying and escalating potential credit risks
- Supporting continuous improvement within the credit control function
- Previous experience in a Credit Control role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident managing a busy workload and prioritising effectively
- Proactive approach with a focus on achieving results
- Salary of £30,000 - £33,000
- Hybrid working
