Beyond Talent Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield to recruit a Credit Controller on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys building strong customer relationships, takes pride in maintaining healthy cash flow, and is looking to join a friendly, supportive finance team within a successful manufacturing business.

The role will include:

  • Managing the sales ledger and customer accounts
  • Chasing outstanding invoices by telephone and email
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
  • Resolving invoice and payment queries
  • Allocating customer payments accurately
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Producing aged debtor reports and monitoring overdue balances
  • Escalating overdue accounts where appropriate
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve account queries
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance duties as required

About you:

  • Previous experience in a Credit Control role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but is not essential
  • Available to start at short notice would be beneficial
