Beyond Talent Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield to recruit a Credit Controller on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys building strong customer relationships, takes pride in maintaining healthy cash flow, and is looking to join a friendly, supportive finance team within a successful manufacturing business.
The role will include:
- Managing the sales ledger and customer accounts
- Chasing outstanding invoices by telephone and email
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
- Resolving invoice and payment queries
- Allocating customer payments accurately
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Producing aged debtor reports and monitoring overdue balances
- Escalating overdue accounts where appropriate
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve account queries
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance duties as required
About you:
- Previous experience in a Credit Control role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
- Organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but is not essential
- Available to start at short notice would be beneficial
