Credit Controller in Bournemouth

CMA Recruitment Group is working with an established professional services organisation in Bournemouth, Dorset to recruit a Credit Controller. This is a varied role combining credit control and billing, with plenty of interaction across the wider business.  The successful candidate will take responsibility for outstanding debt, resolve client account queries and work closely with internal stakeholders to support an efficient billing and collection process.

What will the Credit Controller role involve?

• Manage outstanding debt, contacting clients by telephone, email and letter to secure payment
• Monitor aged debt and work with internal teams to resolve queries delaying collection
• Prepare client bills and process billing amendments and credit notes
• Provide clients with copy invoices, statements and account information
• Process card payments and maintain accurate account records
• Review aged debt and WIP with internal stakeholders
• Support the wider Finance team with account reconciliations, transfers and other revenue-related queries

Suitable Candidate for the Credit Controller vacancy:

• Previous credit control, billing or accounts receivable experience
• Strong communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner
• highly desirable to have business to consumer credit control experience
• Organised approach with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Comfortable building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Additional benefits and information for the role of credit control:

• 37.5 hours week (9:00am - 5:30pm Monday-Friday)
• Salary will be dependent on experience
• Central Bournemouth location, with great transport links
• Parking provided
• Hybrid working, 2 days a week from home after initial training period
