We are currently recruiting for an experienced CSA Construction Manager to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Sines, Portugal.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors, delivering some of the continent's largest and most technically advanced mission-critical projects. You will lead the delivery of Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) packages, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while managing multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CSA team, including Engineers, Supervisors, and Package Managers.
• Oversee the successful delivery of all Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental culture across the project.
• Coordinate procurement, design, engineering, and installation activities.
• Develop delivery strategies and support the commercial team with subcontract packages.
• Review client designs, identify technical issues, and drive effective solutions.
• Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure all quality standards are achieved.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, subcontractors, resources, and programme delivery.
• Develop and monitor construction schedules alongside Project Managers and Planners.
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure construction information is issued on time.
• Chair subcontractor progress meetings and monitor productivity and performance.
• Attend project reviews, planning meetings, engineering meetings, and client meetings.
• Oversee project close-out, including QA documentation, safety files, punch lists, and handover.
• Support commercial teams by managing variations and change control.
• Review drawings, setting-out information, and builders' work coordination with MEP services.
• Produce daily and weekly project reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a CSA Construction Manager or Senior CSA Manager on large-scale construction projects.
• Data centre or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of CSA construction methodologies, sequencing, and project delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors, engineers, supervisors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent understanding of QA/QC, Health & Safety, and commercial awareness.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and programme management experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
