Mechanical Project Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a well-established Building Services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality MEP solutions across the South East.

Known for its collaborative approach and commitment to excellence, the business continues to secure repeat work through long-standing client relationships and is looking to strengthen its delivery team as it continues to grow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion while working within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.



The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical packages, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams.
  • Managing procurement, labour, plant, and materials.
  • Monitoring project programmes, costs, variations, and commercial performance.
  • Attending client and progress meetings while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety, quality, and compliance standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Overseeing testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.


About You

We're looking to speak with candidates who have:

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the Building Services / MEP sector.
  • A strong understanding of HVAC, pipework, plant rooms, and mechanical installations.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating project delivery.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to lead teams and build strong client relationships.
