We are currently seeking an experienced CSA Engineer to join a major data centre project in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) elements of the project, ensuring that works are delivered safely, to the required quality standards and in line with the agreed programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CSA works on site and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Work closely with the QA/QC team to ensure completed works meet approved standards and benchmarks.
• Coordinate with QA Managers and subcontractors to ensure all required quality documentation is submitted correctly and on time.
• Liaise with subcontractors to monitor progress against programme and attend regular subcontractor meetings.
• Manage and maintain project/site documentation.
• Attend and actively participate in site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning meetings, coordination meetings, lookahead meetings and handover meetings.
• Review technical drawings and specifications with the design team.
• Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Monitor and inspect subcontractor works to ensure installation is in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Raise, track and close out defects and snags through the approved project management/QMS platform.
• Carry out follow-up inspections and ensure snagging and close-out documentation is completed within agreed timescales.
• Work closely with construction, engineering, quality and design teams to maintain a high standard of delivery.

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in construction, ideally within data centres or other mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of CSA construction methodologies.
• Experience with QA/QC, inspections, snagging and quality management systems.
• Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and monitoring works against programme.
• Strong ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong IT skills with experience using construction management, snagging and documentation platforms.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced construction environment.
