Monday–Friday 8am to 4pm
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Customer Hire & Sales Co-ordinator to manage customer hires, off-hires, contracts, deliveries, and related administration while maximising sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise, manage, and off-hire contracts using our ERP system.
- Handle customer calls, queries, and requests through system.
- Liaise with depots and supply chain to coordinate equipment and deliveries.
- Confirm daily deliveries and obtain accurate ETAs.
- Quote from fleet and source competitive rehire equipment.
- Manage exchanges, breakdowns, delivery issues, and paperwork.
- Complete live hire reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Use Excel to check, reconcile, and report data.
- Resolve invoice queries, process credits, and manage damage reports.
- Collate KPI and other regular reporting.
- Identify add-on sales opportunities and maximise hire revenue.
- Experience in hire, sales, rental, logistics, or a similar coordination role.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience with ERP/hire systems such as Movex.
- Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
