A client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join their team. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week) and paying up to £13.62 per hour.
Your key duties in this Customer Service Advisor role will include but are not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service and handling customer queries professionally
- Accurately entering and transferring data between internal systems
- Reviewing and checking customer information to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Processing customer payments and handling sensitive information in line with GDPR regulations
- Liaising with customers via telephone and email to resolve issues and provide updates
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is processed correctly
- Working towards individual and team KPI targets
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties as required
- Managing a wide variety of customer interactions, including more challenging conversations, in a calm, professional and resilient manner
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
- Previous experience in a customer service and/or administration role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and provide a positive customer experience
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Ability to handle challenging customer interactions with patience, resilience and professionalism
- Friendly and approachable personality with a genuine enjoyment of working as part of a team
