Customer Service Adviser - Financial Services - Skipton

We're looking for a Customer Service Adviser to join a growing customer contact team, supporting savings customers across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that values development, flexible working, and putting customers first.

📍 Location: Skipton, North Yorkshire
📅 Start Date: 24th August 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday (shifts between 8:00am-6:00pm)
🏠 Hybrid Working: Office-based during training, followed by up to 2 days working from home
📄 Permanent, Full-Time



The Role

As a Customer Service Adviser, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping with a range of savings-related enquiries. Whether it's opening a new account, processing transactions, updating account details, or supporting ISA transfers, you'll deliver a friendly, professional, and tailored service.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting customers with savings queries, transactions, and account updates
  • Understanding customers' needs through meaningful conversations
  • Recommending relevant products and services where appropriate
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive customer outcomes
  • Handling complaints and supporting vulnerable customers with empathy and care
  • Delivering excellent service while contributing to continuous improvement


About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous customer service experience
  • Possesses excellent communication and listening skills
  • Takes a customer-first approach and builds rapport easily
  • Remains calm and professional in challenging situations
  • Works well to service standards and targets
  • Is eager to learn, develop, and build a long-term career

Please note: Successful candidates must be available to start on 24th August 2026 and attend 2-3 weeks of full-time training in Skipton. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available for this position.
