Customer Service Assistant (Rail Replacement) - Cheltenham Train Station

£13.45 per hour | Full Training Provided | Immediate Start

Are you friendly, confident, and passionate about helping people? We're looking for enthusiastic Customer Service Assistants to support passengers during planned engineering works at Cheltenham Train Station.

As the first and last point of contact on a customer's journey, you will play a key role in ensuring passengers receive clear information regarding rail service changes and rail replacement buses while maintaining a safe and welcoming station environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Meeting and greeting customers as they enter and leave the station
• Providing information on rail changes and rail replacement bus services
• Assisting customers who require additional support
• Helping passengers navigate the station and their onward journeys
• Maintaining a safe environment for customers and colleagues
• Delivering friendly, professional, and approachable customer service at all times

What We're Looking For

We are seeking reliable and customer-focused individuals who can remain calm in busy situations and provide excellent service.

You should:

• Have a professional yet approachable attitude
• Be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Have a strong awareness of safety and risk

✅ You must be available to work all weekends between 3rd October and 18th October.

Shift Times:

• Saturday: 06:00 - 14:00
• Sunday: 08:30 - 14:00

All candidates must be able to travel to and arrive at Cheltenham Train Station in time for the start of their shifts.

Pay Rate

£13.45 per hour
