  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues using appropriate troubleshooting and fault-finding techniques.

  • Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, laptops, tablets, printers and other IT equipment.
  • Setting up new users, devices and equipment.
  • Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 and other relevant software and platforms.
  • Supporting Google Workspace environments where required.
  • Supporting Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments where required.
  • Troubleshooting network, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues.
  • Developing knowledge of basic networking principles, including network addressing and VLANs.
  • Supporting classroom and office technology.
  • Managing and supporting iPad and other mobile devices, including the deployment of applications where required.
  • Assisting with IT installations, upgrades, migrations and other technical projects.
  • Assisting with backup and storage solutions where required.
  • Ensuring computers, laptops and other IT hardware are maintained, updated and operating effectively.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance, updates and checks on IT equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate technical documentation and records of equipment, faults and technical work.
  • Prioritising customer requirements in line with Hybrid Media policies and procedures.
  • Keeping customers and colleagues informed of progress and escalating more complex technical issues where appropriate.
  • Working cohesively and cooperatively with colleagues across Hybrid Media.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Reading, signing and following Hybrid Media policies and procedures.
  • Working safely and securely across all platforms and responsibilities, with particular regard to the security of personal and sensitive data.
  • Supporting safeguarding requirements and following the appropriate procedures when working within education settings.
  • Keeping up to date and knowledgeable about new technologies, developments and best practice within the IT sector.
  • Taking responsibility for your own professional development and continuing to develop your technical skills and knowledge.
  • Undertaking any other reasonable IT-related duties required to support Hybrid Media and its customers.

What we're looking for
