We are currently seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our reputable client’s team in Rayleigh, Essex. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for experienced technicians to work within a well-established dealership, offering competitive salary, ongoing development, and clear career progression.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Diagnose vehicle issues and provide effective solutions in accordance with dealership standards
  • Maintain thorough and accurate service records
  • Assist with MOT testing, subject to qualification
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle status and repair requirements
  • Support the workshop team in maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Relevant formal qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a franchised dealership is preferred
  • MOT Tester qualification is highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of work
  • Ability to diagnose faults accurately and efficiently
  • Demonstrated professionalism and a team-oriented attitude
