Customer Service Specialist – Account Operations

Location: Cambridge area
£28,000 per annum
Full-time, Permanent | Early finish every Friday

We’re recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist to join a busy team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service, administration and Excel skills who enjoys working with customers and internal teams to manage orders from start to finish.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end customer order process
• Respond to customer queries and provide regular updates
• Process PO changes, returns, repairs and rework orders
• Liaise with Production and Purchasing to resolve shortages and delivery issues
• Maintain accurate customer and order information across SAP/CRM systems
• Prepare quotations and work with customer BOMs and drawings
• Support sales forecasts, job costing, stock takes and audits

What we’re looking for:

• Previous customer service, customer support or sales experience
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills – essential
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Proactive, self-motivated and confident solving problems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Manufacturing experience desirable
• SAP knowledge desirable
• Ability to understand technical drawings desirable
