The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Support Executive to join a specialist engineering repair and overhaul business. Working within a busy customer support team, the Customer Support Executive will act as a key point of contact throughout the customer journey, helping to coordinate repair orders, quotations and customer communications whilst ensuring a seamless service from start to finish. Reporting into the Customer Support team, this role offers excellent training and development opportunities within a growing and highly respected organisation.
- Processing and managing customer repair orders
- Raising work packs and supporting order administration
- Monitoring progress of customer orders and providing updates
- Preparing customer quotations and supporting documentation
- Producing final paperwork in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Liaising with internal departments including purchasing, workshop and logistics
- Supporting customers with enquiries and requests
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Maintaining accurate records across internal systems
- Supporting the wider Customer Support team with day-to-day administration
Requirements
To be successful in the role of Customer Support Executive, it is highly desirable that you have previous experience within a customer service, administration or sales support environment. Strong communication and organisational skills are highly desirable, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment. Industry experience is not required, as full training will be provided. You will be proactive, adaptable and comfortable working with processes, documentation and customer enquiries. Due to the rural location of the business, it is essential that you have your own transport. This role could suit someone who has worked as a Customer Service Administrator, Sales Support Coordinator or Customer Support Administrator.
