Role Overview
We're recruiting on behalf of our global client for a site-based Data Centre Supervisor to oversee daily Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC) activities, Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, and cabling infrastructure support in a high-availability, 24/7 data centre environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise MAC and BAU cabling activities, including copper/fibre installations, testing, and decommissioning.
- Manage shift coverage, daily workload allocation, and engineering resource scheduling.
- Monitor SLA performance, enforce site safety and quality compliance, and escalate operational risks.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Assist with incident management, first-line technical support, fault finding, and asset tracking.
- Proven supervisory experience within a Data Centre MAC operational environment.
- Extensive hands-on background in copper and fibre structured cabling installation, testing, and fault diagnosis.
- Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, ticketing systems, and formal service delivery workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendors and supervise shifts in live, 24/7 environments.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, CDCTP, CDCMP, ITIL, CompTIA Server+, CCNA).
- Previous experience within enterprise or corporate banking data centre environments.
