Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will transform project programmes into successfully delivered work on the ground, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will oversee a programme of sewer lining, patching, specialist cutting, CCTV and cleansing works, coordinating specialist crews through central planning functions while maintaining strong relationships with operational teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders.

As a Delivery Manager you will…
  • Develop, promote and maintain a strong safety culture, delivering excellent Health & Safety performance.
  • Be accountable for the safe and successful delivery of sewer lining, patching, specialist cutting, CCTV and cleansing works.
  • Plan, sequence and deliver agreed programmes of work to Time, Cost and Quality (TCQ) targets.
  • Coordinate shared specialist crews through central planning and scheduling functions.
  • Act as the day-to-day delivery interface with Severn Trent and other customers regarding work volumes, programmes, completions and access issues.
  • Work closely with Operational Supervisors to manage crew deployment, plant and equipment requirements.
  • Identify and resolve delivery challenges, escalating programme risks where required.
  • Forecast labour, plant and resource requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor productivity and KPI performance, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, street works requirements and company governance procedures.
  • Produce and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners, driving performance and resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including CCTV surveys, completion data and QA documentation for client handover and payment.
  • Support resource planning and collaboration across multiple workstreams and schemes.
About you…

We're looking for an experienced delivery professional who can turn a programme into safely delivered work on the ground while leading teams to achieve exceptional results.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a delivery, site or operations management role within civils, utilities, water or sewer rehabilitation.
  • Strong working knowledge of sewer rehabilitation techniques, including CIPP lining (steam and UV cured), localised and top-hat patch repairs, robotic cutting, ultra-high-pressure water cutting, CCTV surveys and sewer cleansing.
  • Experience planning, scheduling and coordinating field-based teams and specialist resources.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across client and operational teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing delivery against budgets and performance targets.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a calm, decisive approach under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements within confined spaces, street works and water industry environments.
  • Experience delivering projects on water utility frameworks such as Severn Trent or similar.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • NRSWA
  • Confined Space Certification
  • EUSR National Water Hygiene

You will be highly organised, self-motivated and adaptable, with a positive attitude and the ability to lead, influence and coordinate both directly managed and specialist teams.
