Regional Recruitment are recruiting for reliable and hardworking Demolition Labourers to join a growing team working on demolition and construction projects. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who have previous demolition or strip-out experience and can work efficiently while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Valid CSCS Card
• Previous demolition or strip-out experience
• Full PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis Vest and Safety Boots)
• Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites

Desirable:

• Asbestos Awareness Certificate
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Face Fit Certificate
• UK Driving Licence

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assisting with demolition and soft strip-out works on commercial and residential properties.
• Removing non-structural materials, fixtures, fittings, partitions, flooring and other building elements as directed.
• Safely using hand and power tools to carry out demolition and strip-out duties.
• Breaking down, sorting and loading waste materials into skips and ensuring materials are disposed of correctly.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following site instructions from supervisors and site managers.
• Working efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Assisting other trades and labourers when required.
• Adhering to all company and site health and safety procedures.
• Undertaking any other duties as directed by site management.

Requirements

• As a Demolition Labourer, you will also be expected to:
• Arrive on site punctually and maintain excellent attendance.
• Work safely and professionally at all times.
• Wear the appropriate PPE throughout the working day.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
• Be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
• Be flexible to work at various sites if required.
