Demolition Operatives – Oxford – 2–3 Weeks + Potential Ongoing Work

Stridden Limited are recruiting for experienced Demolition Operatives for a project in Oxford.

Location: Oxford
Duration: Initially 2–3 weeks, with the potential for a few months' ongoing work if further work is secured
Start: ASAP

Duties

The successful Demolition Operatives will be carrying out general demolition and strip-out duties, including:

• Demolition and soft-strip works
• Removing fixtures, fittings and materials
• Site clearance and waste removal
• Using hand and power tools where competent
• Working safely in areas where appropriate RPE is required
• Following site RAMS and Health & Safety procedures
• General labouring and assisting the demolition team as required

Requirements

Essential:

• Valid CSCS Card
• Valid Asbestos Awareness
• Face Fit Test
• Must have the correct mask/RPE that they have been face-fit tested for
• Previous demolition / strip-out experience
• Full PPE
• Reliable and able to work safely within a demolition environment

Preferred:

• CCDO Card – highly desirable
• Previous experience working on commercial demolition projects

Duration

The initial project is expected to last approximately 2–3 weeks.

There is a strong possibility of the work becoming ongoing for a further few months, subject to additional work being secured.
