Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential EBD

We are supporting an established children’s residential provider with the recruitment of an experienced Deputy Manager for an EBD home in Greenford.

You will support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts, supervising staff and ensuring children receive safe, consistent and nurturing care.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Registered Manager with operational leadership
• Leading shifts and providing guidance to the staff team
• Maintaining high safeguarding and care standards
• Supporting care plans, risk assessments and behaviour-support plans
• Managing incidents, safeguarding concerns and missing-from-care episodes
• Completing audits, reports and regulatory documentation
• Supporting staff supervision, training and performance
• Promoting positive outcomes for children and young people

Requirements

• Recent experience in an Ofsted-regulated children’s residential home
• Experience supporting children with EBD, trauma and challenging behaviour
• Previous Senior or Deputy Manager experience
• Level 3 Residential Childcare as a minimum
• Level 5 qualification completed or in progress is desirable
• Strong safeguarding and leadership knowledge
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and participate in on-call arrangements
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK
