Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager but would certainly consider and highly experienced Team Manager looking to step up and progress their career.

Key Responsibilities of a Deputy Manager:
- Lead a team to provide high-quality care in a Supported Living service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
- Assist with the professional development a high-performing staff team through recruitment, induction, training and supervision.
- Maintain positive relationships with Local Authorities, commissioners and external professionals to support referrals and occupancy.
- Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, choice and positive outcomes.
- Assist with the implementation of policies, procedures, quality assurance systems and governance processes.
- Support compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and Health & Safety legislation.
- Ensure accurate care planning, risk assessments and record keeping are maintained.
- Support rota management, staffing levels and the effective day-to-day operation of the service.
- Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to ensure the successful growth and development of the service.
- Promote a positive, inclusive culture where people supported are encouraged to maximise their independence and quality of life.
- Ensuring PBS is part of everyday practice and culture.
Deputy Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience within Adult Learning Disability, Autism, or Supported Living services.
- Experience in a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager position.
- Good understanding of person-centred care and positive outcomes for people with Learning Disabilities.
- Good knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality standards.
- Minimum of a Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care or willing to work towards this.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with people supported, families, commissioners and professionals.
- Experience supporting recruitment, supervision, training and staff development.
- Good organisational, administrative and IT skills.
- Understanding of risk management, safeguarding and confidentiality.
- Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to participate in on-call duties where required.
