An exciting opportunity has opened for a motivated and commercially minded Deputy Manager to join a respected lifestyle retailer celebrated for high-quality collections, amazing in store experience and global presence.

What you'll be doing as Deputy Manager:

• Work closely with the Store Manager to support the overall performance of the store, stepping into the lead role and overseeing the team whenever required.
• Create a friendly, engaging, and customer-focused environment by demonstrating excellent standards of service and professionalism throughout the day.
• Lead, encourage, and develop team members through ongoing feedback, coaching, and support to help them perform at their best.
• Play an active role in building the team, including supporting interviews, new starter training, induction, and ongoing development.
• Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate regular and seasonal purchasing to ensure the store has the right products available without unnecessary excess stock.
• Plan and manage team schedules according to expected business levels, maintaining strong service standards while keeping staffing expenditure under control.
• Keep the stockroom clean, orderly, and efficient, ensuring deliveries are stored appropriately and stock is rotated correctly to minimise waste and maintain product quality.
• Take responsibility for the appearance and presentation of the store, ensuring the customer-facing environment reflects the company's expected standards and overall brand image.

You are an accomplished retail leader, already operating at management level and looking for your next career move.
