Summary
NRL are working with a leading national M&E contractor seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager for a high-value building services project in Newmarket. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for professionals with a strong background in mechanical, electrical design management, keen on ensuring successful design delivery on complex projects.  

Location and Working Pattern On-site at the project location in Newmarket.

Client Overview Our client is a well-established national M&E contractor, recognised for delivering technically complex projects across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Administer the completion of project design activities by external consultants
  • Coordinate and review design submissions to ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Monitor design progress and report on milestones and compliance
  • Ensure design solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a key liaison between consultants, the contracting team, and the client
  • Address design issues promptly to support timely project delivery
  • Maintain accurate design documentation and approvals throughout the project lifecycle
Must-have Requirements
  • Proven experience as an MEP Design Manager on building services projects
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical design
  • Ability to manage external design consultants and navigate complex project requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Familiarity with design software and BIM processes
  • Experience delivering large-scale or high-value projects within similar environments
