  • Influence strategic decision-making across the Council and wider health and care system.
  • Build strong partnerships with NHS organisations, Integrated Care Boards, community organisations and regional partners.
  • Lead innovation across prevention, wellbeing and community resilience.
  • Provide expert public health advice to elected members, senior officers and partner organisations.
  • Ensure public health intelligence informs policy development and service transformation.
  • Champion collaborative working to improve outcomes for residents across the district.

About You

  • Proven ability to lead organisational change and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Experience developing innovative approaches to prevention, health improvement and reducing inequalities.
  • Excellent leadership, governance and decision-making skills.
  • A passion for improving health, wellbeing and opportunities for local communities.
