Looking for a better work-life balance while continuing to use your clinical expertise? We are recruiting Functional Assessors to conduct assessments for the DWP, providing objective, evidence-based reports that help inform benefit decisions.
The Role
- Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments
- Review medical evidence and health questionnaires
- Assess the impact of physical, mental and cognitive health conditions
- Produce detailed reports using clinical judgement and reasoning
- No prescribing, treatment planning or hands-on care
WCA Assessor: Approx. 5-6 reports per day
Salary & Benefits
- PIP: £45,000 rising to £47,000 after 12 months
- WCA: £48,000 rising to £49,000 after 12 months
- 5% training completion bonus

✔ Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience
✔ Strong communication, assessment and report-writing skills
