Domestic Violence Support Worker

BDS Recruitment are looking for a Support Worker to work with service users fleeing domestic abuse.

Posts are available across Liskeard, Launcston and Bodmin.

The sucessful applicant will have relevent previous experience in this sector and dealing with domestic abuse

Responsibilities

• Helping Adults and Children settle into the accomadtion
• Be a proactive listener and be able to make the residents feel comfortable 
• Helping residents move on when there feel ready
• Assisting them with any life changes eg training course

This a temporary ongoing contract to start ASAP

Hours; Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm

Must be a driver with acsess to a vehicle

Must hold an enhanced DBS including Child and Adult Workforce from the last 12 months/ on the update service
