Key Responsibilities
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will:
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in their own homes.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, continence care, and personal hygiene.
- Support clients with getting up in the morning and preparing for bed.
- Administer or assist with medication in line with individual care plans.
- Maintain accurate care records and medication documentation using company systems.
- Prepare meals and drinks while respecting clients' dietary requirements, preferences, and cultural needs.
- Carry out light household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment.
We're looking for individuals who have:
- Experience providing personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Knowledge of medication administration and following care plans.
- Experience using mobility equipment and safe moving & handling techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
- A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
