Excellent secondary schools in Cardiff are looking to employ drama teacher who can lead plays and share their passion with pupils. These roles will commence on the 1st September and will last the 2026/27 academic year. Unlike other roles, you will be guaranteed an interview and there's a simple registration process. You will be expected to develop pupil's acting skills as well as providing stimulating and enjoyable feedback to help develop performances.

Responsibilities for a Drama Teacher

• Plan and prepare effective schemes of learning and lessons
• Use innovative and diverse teaching methods that supports the national curriculum
• Use regular assessments to monitor progress and set targets

Required Skills and Qualifications for a Drama Teacher

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
• Valid DBS (Can be produced through us)
• Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) (Can be produced through us)

Desirable Skills for a Drama Teacher

• Full driving licence and have access to a car
• You live in or near Cardiff

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
