We are currently recruiting for an experienced Drop Forge Stamper to join a busy manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating drop forging and stamping machinery to produce high-quality metal components to precise specifications. This is a physically demanding role suited to someone with previous experience in drop forging, forging, stamping or a similar manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating drop forging and stamping machinery.

• Shaping heated metal components using dies.

• Ensuring products meet required quality and specification standards.

• Carrying out basic machinery maintenance and reporting faults.

• Following all health and safety procedures.

• Working as part of a team to achieve production targets.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.

• Ensuring consistent levels of productivity, accuracy and quality.

About You

• Previous experience in drop forging, forging, stamping or a similar manufacturing role.

• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.

• Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.

• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.

• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.

• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Willing to learn and develop within the role.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday, 7:00am–4:00pm

Additional Friday hours may be available depending on production requirements.

Pay & Benefits

• £15.50 per hour initially.

• Once established as an FTE, the role moves onto piecework earnings.

• Average FTE earnings of £17.50–£18.00 per hour, depending on the manufacturing unit and individual output.

• Regular rate reviews as your skills and experience develop.
