I am currently working with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Wrexham, who operate an MHRA-approved sterile injectable facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacovigilance professional to further develop their career within a well-established pharmaceutical business.
Key responsibilities for the Drug Safety Executive
Lead and conduct all aspects of signal management, from detection through to assessment.
Chair product safety signalling meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Evaluate complex and conflicting drug safety data to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with current pharmacovigilance legislation and internal procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and quality in safety processes.
Provide input into continuous improvement activities across safety systems and documentation.
Requirements for the Drug Safety Executive
Degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences.
Strong background in pharmacovigilance, with specific expertise in signal management.
In-depth knowledge of pharmacovigilance legislation and its application.
Broad understanding of medical terminology and disease pathology.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication abilities.
Proficiency in pharmacovigilance safety databases and computer literacy.
