Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only
Unique School Solutions are supporting a Secondary School in the S10 area of Sheffield to appoint a Design Technology Technician. You will be working in a busy school workshop environment preparing materials and supporting teachers with lesson preparation. You will need good knowledge of workshop health and safety and ideally previous school experience. The role is to start in September 2026 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:
- Previous experience working within a school or similar setting
- Excellent knowledge of workshop health and safety
- Experience of monitoring and ordering DT equipment
- Experience of preparing DT equipment for classrooms
- The ability to build rapport with young learners
- The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
