Teach Now is recruiting an ambitious Early Career Teacher (Primary) for a long-term opportunity in Harrow from September.

This role is suited to an ECT who wants to develop strong classroom practice in a supportive primary environment. You will take responsibility for teaching and pupil progress while continuing to develop your planning, assessment and behaviour-management skills.

Your role will involve:

  • Planning purposeful, engaging lessons
  • Establishing clear expectations and classroom routines
  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching
  • Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
  • Working effectively with Teaching Assistants
  • Communicating professionally with parents
  • Reflecting on your practice and engaging with professional development

To be considered, you should:

  • Hold QTS or be on track to achieve it before September
  • Have completed successful UK primary placements
  • Demonstrate sound curriculum knowledge
  • Be organised, reflective and enthusiastic
  • Have high expectations for all pupils
  • Understand your safeguarding responsibilities

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications, within the advertised £40,372–£42,484 range.
