A group of pioneering day nurseries in London, dedicated to providing exceptional childcare services for children aged 12 months to 5 years old. With their own Philosophy and unique project-based curriculum focused on Planet Earth, They are not just a daycare, but a place where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We offer five meals a day, cooked by our school chef with organic and free-range products, and celebrate seasonal produce. We also provide a supportive, collaborative, and fun work environment for our team of dedicated educators. The group follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
The applicant must be experienced, and passionate and support children to reach their full potential, giving them the best possible start in a happy, safe, warm and trusted environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues;
- Innovate with activities, and constantly challenge your children's learning and development
- Work effectively and cooperatively alongside our tight-knit team and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children at all times.
- Support the team in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS and our own Greenwood Philosophy.
- Go out for Forest School days to Wick woodland, on the Hackney marshes
The successful candidate will:
- Be someone who is genuinely passionate about education and changing children's lives.
- Have a relevant early years qualification (level 3 or above),
- Have previous experience working with children,
- Have a positive outlook (someone who always sees the glass as half full).
What the NURSERY will Offer:
- A competitive salary of £29,000 per annum,
- 35 days holiday a year (including bank holidays and nursery closure between Christmas and New Year),

Qualification required:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent (required)
- 2 years of experience in Childcare (required)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- The right to work in the UK.

In person (No remote work)
Pay Rate: £29,000 per annum per annum.
Shift & Working Hours: 40 hours per week; you will be working on a shift pattern from Monday to Friday. Additional 1 - hour unpaid lunch break per day.
