Location: Islington, London
Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum (M1–UPS3), dependent on experience and qualifications
Contract: Full-time, Long-term Temporary
Start: September 2026 – immediate/as soon as possible

Teach Now is looking for an engaging Early Years Teacher for a long-term opportunity in Islington.

You will lead an EYFS class and create a warm, stimulating learning environment where children can develop language, curiosity, confidence and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Plan rich and engaging EYFS learning experiences.
  • Deliver effective early phonics, literacy and numeracy teaching.
  • Use observations to assess development and plan appropriate next steps.
  • Support communication, personal development and social interaction.
  • Create an inclusive environment for pupils with differing needs.
  • Work closely with support staff and families.
Requirements
  • UK QTS.
  • EYFS teaching experience or a strong Early Years training placement.
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A creative and nurturing approach.
