Salary: £40,372 – £59,864 per annum (M1 – UPS3)
Salary will be determined based on experience and placement on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary of £59,864 is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to UPS3.
Hours of work: 8.30am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a nurturing, well-resourced primary school in Bexley for an EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team on a full-time, long-term temporary basis, with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
You will lead a Reception class within a small, close-knit Early Years team, supported by an experienced Teaching Assistant, with a well-resourced indoor and outdoor learning environment already in place.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering a broad, balanced curriculum in line with the EYFS framework
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment, indoors and outdoors
• Carrying out ongoing observations and assessments against the Early Learning Goals
• Supporting childrens early literacy, numeracy, and personal, social and emotional development
• Working closely with a Teaching Assistant or Early Years practitioner
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers, including through learning journals and parents evenings
• Supporting smooth transitions between Nursery, Reception and Year 1
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role and the stated rate of pay, applicants must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Reception or Nursery (EYFS)
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and Early Learning Goals
• A confident, nurturing approach to early years teaching
• The right to work in the UK
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one)
