Key Responsibilities

As a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will support foundational development across the EYFS curriculum:

• Continuous Provision: Maintain inviting indoor and outdoor learning zones across early years classrooms in Chester.
• Phonics & Early Numeracy: Assist with daily Phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc, Little Wandle) and baseline maths activities.
• Personal Care & Wellbeing: Support young children with social routines, confidence building, and emotional regulation in Chester.
• Observation & Tracking: Help class teachers record learning milestones and progress updates for key children.

Candidate Profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools for similar roles outside of EY).
• Demonstrable experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant within an EYFS setting or nursery.
• A proactive commitment to personal development and ongoing professional education and training.
• An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one via Academics).
