Early Years Teaching Assistant – Nottingham & Nottinghamshire

Nursery and Reception classes within schools

Revolve Collective is working with primary and nursery schools across Nottinghamshire to recruit Early Years Teaching Assistants.

Our partner settings include schools where early language, involvement in learning and children’s personal development are central to the EYFS curriculum. The right support at this stage comes from knowing when to join an activity, extend a conversation or give a child time to try independently.

Supporting the early years

You’ll assist with play-based learning, communication, early literacy and number activities. You’ll also help children follow routines, build relationships and develop independence, sharing observations with the teacher or early years lead.

Knowledge of EYFS

We’re interested in applicants with Nursery or Reception experience and an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

A relevant early years or Teaching Assistant qualification is welcome. Please state the qualification you hold, alongside any phonics, speech and language or SEND experience.

You should be comfortable following the setting’s safeguarding and care procedures.
