An established civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Earthworks Foreman for a major infrastructure project in Aberdeenshire.
This is an immediate start with long-term opportunities available for the right person.
The role
You'll be responsible for leading the earthworks package, overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Typical duties include:
- Managing bulk earthworks, cut and fill operations
- Overseeing muck shifting, drainage and access roads
- Coordinating plant, labour and subcontractors
- Driving health & safety, quality and programme
- Working closely with the Site Management team
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Earthworks Foreman or General Foreman
- Strong background in bulk earthworks and heavy civils
- Experience on infrastructure, renewables or substation projects preferred
- SMSTS essential
- Temporary Works and Crane Supervisor tickets advantageous
