EHCP Plan Writer (REMOTE) in London, Greater London

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Southwark Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a EHCP Plan Writer this role will be based at: Remote Working

The right candidate will:

• Draft new Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) following statutory assessments.
• Produce amendment notices and amended EHCPs resulting from annual reviews, reassessments and other statutory processes.
• Analyse reports and recommendations from educational psychologists, schools, health professionals, social care practitioners and other stakeholders.
• Ensure that all sections of EHCPs comply with relevant legislation, statutory guidance and local authority quality standards.
• Write clear, specific and quantified descriptions of provision to ensure plans are enforceable and effective.
• Ensure plans accurately reflect the views, aspirations and outcomes of children, young people and their families.

We require the following:

• Experience of drafting reports, statutory documentation, assessments or plans.
• Experience working within SEND, education, health, social care or a related public sector environment.
