Breaks: Two 30-minute breaks per shift – one paid and one unpaid
Pattern: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a leading UK free-range and organic egg producer.

This role is based within a slightly colder production environment, so previous experience working in a food production, food manufacturing or chilled/cold environment is essential.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Operative, you'll play an important role in ensuring the production process runs smoothly and products are prepared and packed to the highest standards.

Your duties will include:

  • Working as part of a busy and supportive production team.

  • Assisting with the preparation, processing and packing of food products.

  • Working in a cooler production environment for extended periods.

  • Checking products to ensure they meet quality and customer standards.

  • Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.

  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe.

  • Working towards daily production and quality targets.

  • Operating production equipment following training and company procedures.

  • Reporting any quality, safety or production issues to Team Leaders or Managers.

  • Supporting Team Leaders and Managers when required.

  • Following company processes and instructions carefully.

What We're Looking For

Previous food production or food manufacturing experience is essential.

We're looking for people who are:

  • Experienced in a food production, manufacturing or similar environment.

  • Comfortable working in a slightly colder/chilled production area.

  • Reliable and committed to their shifts.

  • Hardworking and have a positive attitude.

  • Comfortable working as part of a busy team.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Attentive to detail and focused on quality.

  • Knowledgeable about food hygiene and food safety requirements.

  • Willing to follow health & safety procedures and company instructions.

  • Flexible and keen to learn new skills.

  • Physically able to carry out production duties safely and efficiently.

Important

Due to the working environment, previous food production or food manufacturing experience is required. Candidates must also be comfortable working in a cooler production department and following strict food hygiene and safety standards.
