Hill McGlynn Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading international developer of hyperscale AI and mission-critical data centre infrastructure who are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join their growing team in Norway.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering some of Europe's most advanced hyperscale data centre projects. You will play a key role in managing all electrical construction activities from installation through to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
As an Electrical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing all electrical construction activities across major hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects, ensuring successful delivery while working closely with project teams, contractors and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all electrical construction activities from installation through to commissioning and handover.
- Coordinating electrical contractors, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
- Managing the installation of HV/LV systems, UPS systems, generators, transformers, switchgear and busbar systems.
- Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications and technical submittals.
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring delivery against programme.
- Managing inspections, testing, energisation and commissioning activities.
- Working closely with project management, QA/QC and commissioning teams.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and quality standards.
- Producing progress reports and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on hyperscale or mission-critical data centre projects is essential.
- Extensive experience managing electrical construction packages on large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems and critical power infrastructure.
- Experience managing multiple contractors and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of commissioning and project handover.
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Up to £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
