Electrical Design Engineer

London | £65 to £70 per hour | Inside IR35 | 12-Month Contract | Hybrid

If you're an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for a long-term contract on complex data centre projects, this is worth a look.

We're looking for an Engineer who can bring strong technical design experience into a multidisciplinary Building Services environment. Data centre experience would be ideal, but we're equally interested in Engineers who have delivered other large-scale, technically complex projects.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering electrical design across complex Building Services projects
• Supporting the design and delivery of data centre developments
• Producing calculations, specifications and technical design information
• Coordinating with Mechanical and wider multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting projects through detailed design stages
• Contributing technical expertise to project and design decisions

What we're looking for

• Strong Electrical Building Services design experience
• Experience delivering large-scale, technically complex projects
• Data centre experience is highly desirable
• A strong consultancy or multidisciplinary design background
• Confidence working within collaborative project teams
• Chartered status is preferred

The opportunity

This is a 12-month contract, offering considerably more security than a typical short-term assignment, with hybrid working in London.

The role pays £65 to £70 per hour, Inside IR35 and gives you the opportunity to work on major data centre projects within an established multidisciplinary engineering environment.
