Location: Greater Morecambe Area

Salary: £45,000

Shift: Continental Shift Pattern (12-Hour Days & Nights)

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An established heavy industrial manufacturer in the Greater Morecambe area is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its experienced engineering team. This is a hands-on position working across large-scale production equipment and associated plant, with responsibility for diagnosing electrical faults, responding to breakdowns and completing planned maintenance to support reliable production.

You'll work across a broad range of electrical systems, including PLC-controlled equipment, DC drives, motors, control panels and instrumentation. Alongside day-to-day maintenance, you'll support electrical modifications and improvement work across the site, making this a varied opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical fault finding and working with complex industrial machinery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Strong electrical maintenance background.
  • Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • PLC fault-finding experience.
  • Good communication skills.

Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Electrical fault finding.

  • Panel wiring.
