Working closely with employers and apprentices, they play a vital role in developing the skilled workforce needed to support the future of the industry.

In this role, you will deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices and industry learners, supporting both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based development. You will guide learners through their qualifications, assess their progress, and help prepare them for successful careers within the electrical and energy sectors.

This role would suit an experienced Electrician who enjoys mentoring others and wants to build a long-term career in education. Teaching experience is not required, as full teacher training, assessor qualifications and training in emerging technologies will be provided.

The Role

*Deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices and industry learners
*Support both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based learning
*Assess learner progress and provide guidance and support
*Deliver apprenticeship programmes alongside specialist commercial training courses
*Gain training in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Inspection & Testing
*Full teaching and assessor training provided
*Monday to Friday position based in Wakefield

The Person

*NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
*Strong Electrical Installation industry experience
*Experience as an Electrician, Approved Electrician or Electrical Supervisor
*Interest in renewable technologies and ongoing professional development
*Strong communication and mentoring skills
*Looking to move into training and education
*No previous teaching experience required
