Electrical Maintenance Engineer

A leading facilities management service provider based in Hampstead, North West London, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a static contract within an educational setting.
This is a single-person site role, and the successful candidate will take full responsibility for all landlord and tenant M&E and fabric maintenance, covering both planned and reactive work. You'll be the sole engineer on site, so a broad, hands-on skill set across the following areas is essential:
- Lighting: small installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast replacement, control panels, power distribution
- Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
- Air conditioning: air handling units and fan coil units (filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers: resetting
- Pumps and motors
- Water treatment: temperature checks (non-dosing)
- Plumbing: unblocking toilets, changing taps and seals
- BMS monitoring (hot and cold systems)
- UPS systems: monitoring and taking readings
- General building fabric maintenance
- Escorting subcontractors
- Monday to Friday,
- 08:00–17:00 (40-hour week)
- Overtime available.
- Basic salary up to £50,000

- City & Guilds - NVQ Level 2 & 3
