Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Romsey, Hampshire
Salary: £46,000 + Benefits
Shift Pattern: Double Days (Monday-Friday)

A well-established manufacturing business in the Romsey area is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and reliably, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site.



Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of production machinery.
  • Respond to electrical breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding and repairs.
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site.
  • Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and site procedures.


Requirements

  • Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging, or industrial environment.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with PLC-controlled systems is advantageous.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to maintenance.
