Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment have the pleasure of working with leading manufacturing company based in the Sheffield area who are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their knit team.

Working Hours: Days only, Monday to Friday 

Salary- £48,300

Duties of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:

• Responsible for the electrical and mechanical repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical switchgear when needed, equipment, systems and components
• Review job orders to determine work priorities
• Preventative maintenance
• Working on heavy manufacturing machinery
• Working with 415 volts
• Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards
• Working to correct health and safety measures at all times

Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Electrical qualification - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimun
• Apprentice trained
• Previous experience of working in heavy manufacturing environment is advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Must be happy to help with mechanical work where needed
• Must be happy being on call 1 in 3 weeks
