Working on the client side, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical systems are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical and quality standards, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of all electrical packages across complex hyperscale data centre developments. You will be responsible for coordinating design, managing installation activities, overseeing commissioning and ensuring electrical systems are fully integrated with the wider building infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with local electrical regulations, statutory requirements, industry standards and health and safety legislation applicable to the project.
- Review and validate electrical design drawings, technical submittals and construction documentation to ensure compliance and constructability.

- Manage the electrical interface with utility providers and enabling works, including grid connection readiness, energisation planning, Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, permit-to-work coordination and the safe transition into commissioning.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and support recovery planning where required, ensuring clear reporting across all electrical packages.
- Oversee quality assurance, inspections, testing and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST), ensuring all electrical systems are fully tested, verified and documented before handover.
- Lead regular coordination meetings with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to maintain project alignment and resolve technical issues.
- Promote a culture of health and safety, technical excellence and continuous improvement across all project activities.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of seven years' experience managing electrical delivery on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centres or other mission-critical environments.
- A degree or recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) distribution, UPS systems, backup generators, power conditioning and electrical control systems.
- Proven commissioning expertise across medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) power systems, including active involvement in Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Demonstrable experience coordinating electrical design, installation, commissioning and project delivery.
- Knowledge of Norwegian electrical regulations and standards, including FEF, FEL and NEK, would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience using project reporting and scheduling software.
- Fluency in English is essential; Norwegian language skills would be advantageous.
