Role responsibilities and key skills for the role

  • Lead and conduct electrical installation quality control inspections across all site activities.
  • Inspect cable containment, cabling, terminations, glanding, earthing, bonding, LV systems and electrical equipment.
  • Verify installations comply with approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, specifications and client requirements.
  • Witness and document electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, earth loop and functional testing.
  • Conduct material receiving inspections and verify supplier/vendor quality documentation.
  • Supervise subcontractor QA/QC activities and ensure contractual and project quality requirements are met.
  • Coordinate inspection notifications, client witness points, audits and third-party inspections.
  • Track and ensure timely close-out of punch list items, quality observations and outstanding comments.
  • Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, system energisation and integrated testing activities.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety and documentation while working closely with subcontractors, clients and project teams.

Location, day rate and timeframe of the EC&I Completions Engineer positions:

  • London
  • Outside IR35
  • 12 months - 2 years
