Electrical Supervisor

Responsibilities include:
- Authorising and overseeing electrical certification and compliance.
- Ensuring all electrical work meets current BS7671 standards.
- Carrying out witness testing and competency assessments of electricians.
- Providing technical guidance, training and support to operational teams.
- Managing inspection, testing and reporting processes.
- Leading external compliance audits and accreditation assessments.
- Monitoring contractor and operative performance to maintain high quality standards.
- Ensuring testing equipment is calibrated, maintained and compliant.
- Investigating technical issues and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor or Electrical Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of BS7671, Inspection & Testing and the Electricity at Work Regulations.
- Experience within housing, property maintenance, construction or refurbishment environments.
- A proven ability to manage quality, compliance and technical standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supervising electrical operatives and contractors.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualification.
