Job Title: Electrical Technician - Facilities Maintenance

Location: Horsham

Salary: £43,056 per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent



About the Role:

Our client, a leading property maintenance and facilities management specialist across the South of England, is seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious Electrical Technician to join their dynamic team in Horsham. This permanent opportunity is ideal for an electrician looking to advance their career with a thriving and supportive workplace.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks including PAT testing, EICRs (fixed wiring), Emergency Lighting, and Fire Alarm testing.

  • Perform fault diagnosis, electrical repairs, and routine servicing in accordance with current IEE regulations.

  • Complete all electrical certification efficiently using modern digital software.

  • Participate in emergency call-out rotas and support wider trades as necessary.

  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and professionally.



Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).

  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).

  • 18th Edition Electrical Regulations certificate.

  • Full UK Driving License (clean preferred).

  • Ability to pass a standard DBS check.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems/Legionella or holding PASMA/IPAF is desirable.
